Sensing the Mystery
Plants and animals can sense many things we have no senses for, and we can sense things that some of them cannot. We don't know what we don't know. Life is vast, and the things that we're currently incapable (perhaps never capable) of knowing, understanding, or proving are without limit. Just because you can't see it, or even imagine it, doesn't mean it is not true
Just as the concept of light would be unimaginable to worms, so too was the concept of germs, or radiation to us not long ago. The people who first tried to explain and describe such things were considered crazy, heretics, and often persecuted, or killed. As recent events in modern history, and even current events happening today show, the official accepted narratives never show a complete picture of what is really going on. In fact it's virtually impossible to understand all the dynamics that contribute to the smallest aspects of life even if we were given access to all the available data
Sensing spirit is not a mutation. It's available to all of us. Just as a chef, or sommelier have honed their sense of smell, and taste to a point far beyond what the average person can imagine, so too can we explore, cultivate, and refine our sense of connection to spirit, place, people, and the fluctuations, and distortions of energy all around us. It's like a muscle that becomes stronger, and more agile the more it's used, and stretched through practice
Cultivating this sense opens us up to a whole new world where everything, and everyone are connected. That's not some trite sentiment or metaphor, it's the truth of existence for all things. For indigenous people, and mystics this has always been obvious, and clear
Try to keep in mind that your inability to understand or imagine a thing doesn't make it a fantasy. What a sad life it would be if it were truly limited by our knowledge and beliefs
Become friends with the mysteries of life. Once you do certainty seems nothing more than a dangerous, and arrogant illusion
